Last stage of the renovation, removing the old cooktop and prepping the island for the new JennAir and talevera tile.
I’m also fixing up the sloppy electrical work done initially by the contractor. He had run the conduit to power the cooktop across the interior of the cabinet ruining it for any use for storage.

Finally took a chance to look at some before and after pictures of the kitchen. I like the results…

The laundry room sink went quickly after all the practice! Took down the small splash panels on the sides, removed the Formica and the sink. What a mess!

At last the counters are tiled and grouted completely, looking nice! I ordered the cooktop today as as soon as it arrives I can start on the island. Until then it’s time for the laundry room sink.
